The Bend Classic 2024 - Members Sprint Entry

- The Event shall be a Multi Club Race and Supersprint, known as 'The Bend Classic', held on the West Circuit (3.41km) and International Circuit (4.95km) configurations at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, Tailem Bend, South Australia.
- Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 October 2024.
- The Event will be conducted under Motorsport Australia Permit Number: 524/2710/01
- Sprint category competitors must hold a current Motorsport Australia Speed licence or higher.
- MyLaps timing will be used.
Members Sprint - International Circuit (4.95km)
Saturday 26 October
3 x 20 minute Super Sprint sessions between 9am-2pm
Members Sprint entrants are not eligible for The Bend Classic Shootout

DRIVER APPAREL REQUIREMENTS - Sprint categories:
- Non flammable clothing (including socks), which covers the driver from wrist-neck-ankle, complying with the requirements for Speed events in Schedule D of the Motorsport Australia Manual.
- A helmet complying with the requirements for Speed events in Schedule D of the Motorsport Australia Manual.
- Frontal Head Restraint for SPEED Events
A FHR compliant with Standard A and a Helmet compliant with Standard A must be worn when competing in:
(a) Each 1st Category (single seater) Automobile, except for:
(i) a Superkart; or
(ii) a 5th Category Automobile which is exempt from the use of a FHR.
(b) Each Automobile the subject of a Motorsport Australia Log Book which applies a RACE, RALLY/ROAD, OFF ROAD or 5th CATEGORY classification that requires the mandatory use of a FHR.
(c) The use of a FHR is not required for a Road Registered Automobile for a SPEED Event, except where Article (b) above is applicable.
A full-face helmet is highly recommended for a Driver of an open car.
VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS - Sprint categories:
- All vehicles must be competition ready with all loose items removed from the vehicle.
- Vehicles must comply with Schedule A and Schedule B of the Motorsport Australia Manual.
- Safety harness requirements are as per Motorsport Australia Schedule I for Speed events.
- All vehicles must have a fire extinguisher complying with Motorsport Australia Schedule H.
- Safety cages are not mandatory except for 1st Category vehicles - see Motorsport Australia Schedule J.
