The AirTouch Bend Karting Championship Entry Form - Kartsport SA Round 5

Saturday 13th September 2025.

Optional practice Friday 12th September 2025.

The Event will consist of races for go karts at The Bend Kartdrome, 543 Dukes Highway, Tailem Bend, S.A. 5260.         

AUTHORITY: The Event is held under the authority of AASA (Australian Auto Sport Alliance).

Certain public, property, professional indemnity and personal accident insurance is provided by AASA in relation to the event. Further details can be found on their website aasa.com.au

ENTRIES:

Entries will close on Sunday 7th September. 

Maximum number of entries per class is 30.        

All drivers will need either a current Karting Australia racing licence or a current AASA karting licence.

All drivers will pay an entry fee of $140. Optional Friday practice can be added for $60.

Drivers with a current Karting Australia licence will need to show proof of their licence at sign on.

AASA karting licences are available to purchase directly from the KartsportSA website. These are issued for 12 months from the date of purchase at a cost of $120.00.

Entries will be accepted or rejected at the discretion of KartsportSA .

The organisers reserve the right to change or vary the program.

The promoters reserve the right to postpone or abandon the race meeting for reasons of safety or Force Majeure.

Entries made online must be completed in full.

All drivers will receive:

- 1 x Saturday pass to AirTouch 500 at The Bend (driver)

- 1 x Saturday pass to AirTouch 500 at The Bend (crew)

Optional Friday Practice - $60

Optional Friday Practice entry includes:

- 1 x Friday pass to AirTouch 500 at The Bend (driver)

- 1 x Friday pass to AirTouch 500 at The Bend (crew)

DRIVER ELIGIBILITY:

Subject to the KartsportSA technical regulations.     

RACE FORMAT:

Practice shall consist of a number of sessions for all drivers on Friday September 12.

Racing shall consist of 4 heat races for all classes.

Classes may be joined together for practice and/or racing.

VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY:

All karts to comply with the KartsportSA technical regulations.

The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or delete from the meeting a class or classes, where insufficient entries are received prior to the event, or for reasons of Force Majeure. 

Classes to be contested are:  

• Statesman 125 Restricted @ variable weights + restrictors   

• Tag Heavy @ 180kg

• Tag Light @ 155kg

• Tag Restricted Heavy @ 180kg

• Tag Restricted Light @ 155kg

• Senior 4 Stroke Heavy @ 170kg

• Senior 4 Stroke Light @ 150kg  

• Junior 4 stroke @ 130kg

• Junior Open @ 130kg (KA100 restricted)

• MiniRok restricted @ 100kg 

• MiniRok open (unrestricted) @ 110kg
